Meet Katie

Real Estate Specialist

Katie Noble is a real estate professional in every sense of the word. Katie started her career at the age of five with a paintbrush in hand varnishing stairs in her parents’ vacation home in Cape Cod. She’s still not sure who would give a paintbrush to a five-year-old, especially one prone to knocking things over, but everyone survived even if the stairs are decidedly lumpy to this day.

After graduating from Colgate University, Katie's career ambition was to save the whales. In furtherance of this goal (and truly to avoid door to door canvassing which raised the terrifying specter of her unremarkable childhood career selling Girl Scout Cookies), she attended law school at the University of Utah College of Law. She had never been to Utah, but she got a scholarship and figured it would be an adventure. And it was.

Unable to find any whales in Utah that needed saving, Katie worked for The Nature Conservancy during law school. They told her she needed experience as a real estate attorney, so she dutifully went back to Boston and bounded up the corporate law ladder like a Golden Retriever chasing a tennis ball. After practicing commercial real estate law at several prestigious firms, she became General Counsel for a multifamily investment firm, working primarily on $100 Million - $1 Billion apartment deals. She looked up from her desk one day, looked down at her tailored suit, and had no idea how she had gotten there. The next thing she knew, she heard the mountains calling. She had to answer.

Katie packed up her dog and her cat and made the drive to Park City. Not one to fear change, but definitely one to fear boredom, Katie started a family and a new career selling real estate shortly after returning to Utah. She’s been a top tier agent for over a decade and and never looked back. She still enjoys renovating historic homes, buying and selling investment properties, and working on her house on the Cape in the summer.

Katie is committed to using every tool in her extensive marketing arsenal to help her clients sell their properties. Her market knowledge, reputation for professionalism and integrity, and expertise are her secret weapons in getting her listings sold. Katie’s listening skills, keen insight, local knowledge and negotiating skills make her a trusted expert for her buyers.

True to her promise to save something (even if it wasn’t whales), several years ago she founded Preserve Midway, a non-profit dedicated to preserving open space. Katie lives in Park City with her husband, teen daughter, two dogs and a rescue cat named Spanky.  When she’s not helping clients she enjoys art, sailing, paddle boarding, baking, reading, hiking, skiing, mountain biking and hosting very last-minute parties, especially if they involve costumes.

Even though she’s lived all over the country from Newport, RI to Kailua, HI to Encinitas, CA, Katie always returns to Park City. It’s her home and her favorite place in the world.
